The JEP Java Expression Parser can parse and evaluate mathematical expressions. The DJep package adds differentation, simplification vectors and matrices, abstract groups and several other advanced features.
Below is a console for the VectorJep part of the DJep package, which adds vector handling, including dot product '[1,2,3].[1,2,3]', cross product '[1,2,3]^^[4,5,6]', matrix multiplication '[[1,2],[3,4]]*[1,1]'.
